ABOUT THE EQUIPMENT
The Dental Ultrasound with LED DL300 was designed with high technology in order to assist veterinarians in procedures for removing tartar through ultrasonic scaling.
PHYSICAL PRINCIPLE INVOLVED
Sound is characterized by vibrations (pressure variation) in the air. There is a frequency range in which these vibrations are perceptible to human ears (20Hz to 20kHz) and animals (dogs and cats: 25Hz to 40kHz). When the frequency of the signal exceeds this perceptible variation, we say that the signal is ultrasonic.
ULTRASOUND MODULE
The DL300 ultrasound module has an ultrasound pen support with LED on the left side and a reservoir support on the back. The power intensity and water flow adjustment buttons are located on the top of the equipment.

EQUIPMENT CLEANING
The LED ultrasound pen, the ultrasound module and the trigger pedal can be disinfected with a cloth moistened with 70% alcohol.
Inserts must be autoclaved after each use.
*ATTENTION
Excessive "tightening" of the insert can cause mechanical damage to equipment that is not repaired by the manufacturer.
NOTE: The foot pedal and the hose attached to the ultrasound pen are already connected to the ultrasound module, so they do not need to be installed.
*ATTENTION
The reservoir must be filled with water for the ultrasound pen with LED to be activated. The activation without water in the reservoir can cause irreversible damage to the equipment.
NOTE: When the pedal is activated, the LED on the central part of the equipment and on the pen must light up.
*ATTENTION
The ultrasound pen can be autoclaved, but this procedure reduces its useful life. The sterilization oven CANNOT be used for the ultrasound pen, otherwise it will be rendered useless. No part of the equipment should be immersed in water, disinfectant solution or any liquid.
